Ideal for romantic weekends in the cozy rooms, or long family stays in the apartments equipped with kitchenettes, it is designed to make your experience of [Sintra](https://www.quintadasmurtas.com/en/what-to-do-in-sintra) unforgettable. In a mix of stories of yesteryear and contemporary comfort, feed yourself with life in these verdant mountains. Due to its historical, architectural and cultural importance, the property is protected by local laws. For this reason, the house does not have an elevator, only stairs. There are no rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility, and there are also corridors and many internal and external stairs that give access to our parking lot. The rooms (doubles and triples) located inside the main house, in the annex and in the garden, do not have air conditioning or a minibar. Our breakfast room does not have the capacity to serve all rooms at the same time. Therefore, there are slots to be chosen at the time of check-in, according to our daily availability. The times are: 8:30 am, 9 am, 9:30 am and 10 am. At Quinta das Murtas, all rooms are different in size, floor plan, decoration and location (main house, annex or garden). When making a reservation with us, please note that you are booking a specific room type according to your choice (whether it is a double room, triple room, apartment for two people or apartment for four people) and not a room based on the photo in the gallery, as the accommodation will always be subject to availability in our reservation system. The photos are illustrative and the room you book may not be the one advertised, but rather the one that will be available. All reservations made through our website will be charged 48 hours before check-in. Please make sure to enter a valid credit card so that the process is completed in full. If there is any discrepancy, the reservation may be automatically cancelled by the system.
